I've heard that people are actually really seriously interested in a meet somewhere next year. If that's the case I think it would be good to prepare for it in a timely manner.
I think that we should decide on a country in which this should take place. My personal preference would be in the Netherlands/Belgium or similar.

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions.

Can't say I'm that interested in Stirling specifically.

I've spoken to a few folks who would like a meet in the UK (Scotland/Central England, DEFINATELY NOT WALES).  I am more than willing to take a part in organising this for next summer, although I'll need someone to find me a suitable location for us to stay.  Everyone interested, please speak up.

I am personally willing to travel abroad, but I know the majority of our UK guys simply can't manage that, while quite a few of our Euro guys have already proven that they are more able to travel.  The UK is also handy because a couple of our American twats have expressed interest in coming to see me in Scotland next summer, so I can organise the meet to coincide with when they visit if it ever ends up happening.


EDIT: I'm sure our friends who aren't in BlackIntel are more than welcome to join.  I can't see anyone having an issue with that.

Ok, but one possible problem gwynzer and I already talked about was one (or more preferably) cars. As we will/should be doing things besides sitting in some vacation home, we'll need cars/vans for transport most likely. I would think of activities like paintballing and similar.
To do this we would either <no. of visitors>/5=<no. cars>. Since there should at least be 10 people, we would need at the very least 2 cars. In the benelux I would able to bring a car, the UK probably not.

I'm assuming I'll be driving by next summer (I'll be pretty pissed off if I'm not), so I'll have a car.  I think a couple of our UK (down south) can drive.  I'm also willing to chip in for a rental car (7/8 seater assumedly) for a second person to drive (Liam? I think he's the only UKer old enough for a rental.)

In the unlikely chance that my father gets his old VW camper going, we'll be able to do a bit of transport in that.  I'll take the minors, I'm sure they'll LOVE being trapped in a rickety old van with me.

I know there is a paintball area or two around Aberdeen - I think there is possibly a shooting range nearby (clay pigeon), along with plenty of places for swimming etc. I'm more than willing to research for activies around any area where folk suggest we stay, a few phone calls to the right places doesn't take too long.

Benu proved when I was visiting him that he's definitely capable of organising it, and there are certainly enough things to do.  Personally, I would love Finland but I think less people would be able/willing to go there than the UK.

I love the idea of a BlackIntel meet - I'm willing to go where ever it will be held, I can probably even arrange it if anyone would want it to be in Denmark (which is doubtful), but I'm in.

When will it be held? Sometime around spring/summer or the autumn?
