I'm sorry, drinking and driving at the same time will not be allowed on a BI meeting. I have no problem whatsoever with drinking, but I will NOT allow ANYONE, in a situation which is linked to my responsibility, to drink and drive afterwards.
What idiots do is their own business, but these kinds of things I will NOT tolerate.

As far as I know, Driving Licenses count worldwide.
For the EU you should certainly be fine

That is not true. A US drivers license isn't valid in the Netherlands, and probably in the rest of Europe.

Within the EU your license should be valid seeing as you can travel between borders freely.
If I drink, one thing that might relieve you is I have a no-puking streak of at least 5 years.

Anyone still not voted, or not said anything at all?

We have 5 people that have said that can't come, but I only know who one of them is.  I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if you can't make it, it'll save me hassling you later. :P  Remember, this is still a *year* away.  You may not be able to make it now, but if there is a chance you will be able to next year then please let us know where in the world it would be easiest for this to take place.

It's looking good for the UK so far in terms of votes.  I've already been looking at some lodges up near Avimore and Loch Ness, but I'd imagine you guys want to be closer to an airport and not somewhere freezing and full of midges.  I'm already investigating more.
