Good find dhdc! I'll try to move our clan event to this weekend, so more members can join.

You need sub groups on the forum.
I and im sure more people do not play ut3 but are registered on the forum.
So when the announcement gets sent it goes to everyone, which is a little silly.

I explicitly sent it to people that are NOT in the UT3 section. The people that already are UT3 clanmembers don't need to use a free UT3 weekend.

And there is typically a reason people aren't in the ut3 section. (not liking the game?)
Announcements are silly anyway, the only reason I have the email option enabled are for things like when the forum db went down, you know....important information. (the server upgrade is another good example of a reason for them) But giving away a £10 game for free for x amount of time on steam.....well?

I wouldn't be concerned only it's the 3rd or 4th announcement for some shitty free weekend on steam. And not only that when the announcement goes through it gets sent twice, or am I the only one experiencing that? I consider it spam.

I only got it once.  And, tbh... it's an E-mail. Annoying, maybe... not that big a deal though D:

I got it once, got the previous one twice, and I agree with Liam
The active people read those forums, so no need to spam around with it imo

We better just focus on getting WHO are gonna do this and WHEN we are going to play together before the weekend is over.

And exactly because of this I found you not suited as clan leader. We as admins should be concerned about getting INactieve people to the forums and such. Also, there might be people that actually like the game but can't order from steam (no cc/paypal) or just don't have the money.

Also, I guess that you'll most likely recieve spam daily, so a mail more or less shouldn't matter. Oh, and, you don't have to reply.

As you might've read, I'm trying to organize a UT3 event for the next weekend, as this weekend I'm pretty busy (birthday and such).

Could do something saterday morning though, if people are intrested (till about 13.30 CEST)
