Full 'Alan Wake' playthrough on Youtube - with commentary
« on: May 24, 2010, 06:37:01 am »

http://www.youtube.com/user/DSPGaming#p/c/C7252397E907182E/1/eigjyNkBkT0

69 parts, all around 10 minutes, taken from Justin TV.

It's going to take a while but it should be epic to see the whole game!

Wtf is the big deal over Alan Wake?  When I saw it's previews at E3 or wherever it was, I was not interested at all.

I actually started watching a playthrough of it a few days ago (without any commentaries), it's quite interesting. I wish they didn't cancel the PC version, because I would like to have it. I  say that it's worth watching.

I'm pretty sure it comes out on PC at some point. Like after a year or so. Has happened with a couple of other games exclusive to consoles.

I have finally finished watching Alan Wake. It's very doable to watch it like a movie. Oh, and it was really good.

I suggest you watch RolandGamingHD, he doesn't talk, so you can really pay attention to the story, and he doesn't skip anything. You can even lol at him for his horrible driving skills, falling off cliffs, running like a coward and his amnesia (looks at the same stuff many times).

Critique *SPOILER ALERT* (hardly)

I loved the horror atmosphere, but when there is about one third of the story left, it becomes hilarious at some points because of one of the characters. And also, when there is one third left, it becomes some sort of adventure (like in those cheap movies where the main character and his buddies totally own the enemies, without taking a scratch, having fun while they are at it and so on) so that kind of ruined the atmosphere. The ending was good though, albeit confusing, but that's intended I think.

They will release at least two more episodes, one coming out on July 27 I believe. That's good, seeing as how the story seemed incomplete.
