Currently we have a "profit" of about 80 euros. Since we're a non-profit organization, we now have 80 euros to spend on upgrades

Because we can pay for that ourselfs? And we think that's not what you (the people that donated) meant to donate this money for.
We need about 40 euros more for the CPU upgrade. With the quadcore (+the extra harddrives we donate ourself) we would be able to either run more servers, or facilitate more players on our current servers.

A bump to this sticky.

With the recent hardware failure, we'll definately going to have to upgrade at some point soon.  If everyone donated €5, we'd have enough to replace (And upgrade!) and still possibly have some left over to look at bumping up other hardware too.

What we'll do would really depend on what budget we can manage to get, so more donations would allow us to do a bigger investment in a better server. If we get more money than we need for updating the server we'll use it to finance the monthly costs, or if you want, refund it to the people that donated.
