We're aiming to add 12 TB HDD and an SSD to the server this weekend, so the servers and services may experience some downtime and may be less performant. We'll let you know when we have more details on exact timing and such.

Since preparations took a little longer than expected, we'll continue this weekend. We aim to upgrade the live server this Saturday.

The server now has 12 TB storage + 120 GB SSD cache. We also switched over to a different hypervisor and improved I/O performance significantly. We are still working on the last changes, but all services should be running again.

I think the IRC thing tool we use for always being logged ina nd stuff is down? ZNC?

No, it was up, but it was misconfigured for some user accounts (in the new configuration, VMs can no longer access the server through the external IP, so that caused trouble). It should be working again now though.

I had to reboot the server to get things up and running again. Not sure what happened yet, still investigating.

And they're back up, but something is definitely wrong. We have disabled the SSD cache because it was reporting errors, let's see if it is more stable now (but slower).
