I think all they get is your email address.
Anyway I can't give you my key since I activated it before I noticed the game is included in the bundle I already purchased but didn't activate yet :P

no because metro was included among with 4 or 5 other games on 1 key. it won't give separate giftable keys for games you already own

I mean that steam tends to make games giftable if you already own them and then add a pack in which they are included.
