I've been thinking that quite a few of us have photoshop on Blackintel and was thinking that perhaps we could organise a Signature of the Week each each week.

It would be a bit of fun, it could improve you're skills in photoshop at the same time and give us something to do and make these forums a bit more active.

Would many people be interested in joining in each week?

I like the idea. I'm not really into signatures and photoshop, so I won't be joining, but I can arrange a "Photoshop" or "Signatures" (sub)forum of some kind if desired.

It's fine if you don't want to join in the signature making but everyone can come and vote for who you think has made the best one that week. The winner can get to choose the theme of sig for the next week.

As long as we have a few people each week it should be fine.

I'm with seye in supporting the idea, but not wanting to take part.  My sig is better than y'alls anyway.  It'd certainly be nice to see.

As for the board, just give me the details of how you want it (name, description, access, placement/category). e.g. "Signature of the week", "This board is dedicated to a weekly signature contest, everyone is allowed to participate and/or vote on the best signature each week.", "public access". I guess it would best fit in the General category.

I wouldn't want it to be a weekly contest, as that would probably die out too easily,judging by the amount of times I hear people say that they're busy.

Edit:
Perhaps make a bit more general Graphics forum, with the SOTW/SOTM topic? That would allow other things than signatures to be posted as well.
