I wasn't sure where to post this so I'll post it here. I was wondering if you might consider modifing the rank profile. What I mean is that you have a person called Global moderator and a person called Admin. You also have under their title, newbe, jr. member and so on. I know that those titles are based on the # of posts you have. Here is an idea you might implement,

1 In my community server, if you were admin or had a special title, you didn't have the other rank which said how many posts you had, (newbie, jr. member, ect). Once you gave up that position though, you were given back your other title which was based on your # of posts.

Well; admin is (of course) when you are an administrator (I know, duh...) - Global moderator was, if you were good enough (in character and in judgement - most certainly not on the level of which you played)... I don't mind being called a crappy Ren player, I know I am, yet today I am the leader of the BlackIntel clan... only a little more than one and a half years since I begun playing Renegade... not because I'm good at it, but because I acted right in the right situations...

Before the hard disks failed, the forum had some 1337 Renegade descriptions... I don't know if it's because time has been a serious issue, but they haven't been re-activated...
Do I have permission to access and edit that?

Dex what are you wittering about? no one asked for a speech :P
just try to see if you have access, do you see an admin button along with the home, search, profile, my messages and logout button? If so click on it and see what privileges you have on the forums.

Although if I'm certain moderators have stripped back end privileges in smf boards, only admins have full access. and if I'm fully right, you can only edit smileys and attachment settings :P

Im trying to remember what other name was with yours a long time a go leeum. Was it like stinky something ;). back on topic.. Rating it on post counts stinks abit because of spammers (dex) not that anybody spams much anymore. Im not sure what u can rate it on. I like the full member, admin, and moderator ones. If someone has a problem (banned or kicked) he can see who is responding to him in his message.

Smelly, stupid, idiotic...

A Danish saying says: " "Dear child" has many names"... note: the quotes around the Dear Child... :+ Maybe they should just have been around Dear..?
