Title: FS Server

Hi all.
I've put together a temporary (few weeks free trial) 2142 server and its running ok, but can't launch a FS server.
I expect it's because the updater cant connect to the update server.
Anyone know a workaround?

Now that the forums are back up and running, the updater should be able to connect.

Been a while since I had to run a server, but I believe I removed the updater from mine and just applied any updates manually.

Be aware, the revive server currently running (co-op only right now) is using base 1.6 only, if you launch FS via our launcher it will update if the site is up and you will CTD on joining the revive server.

Good to see the old mod online again though and some of you posting again at FS.

I could see myself returning to the mod once the launcher/server kinks get ironed out. Heck, I'll even be playing 2142, I like it a lot too.
