Sometime in June or July Gwynzer, StealthEye, Trace and me will meet up in the Netherlands for a meeting. We thought it'd be a great idea to include more people, so in this thread we're checking which weekend would fit you best. We estimate that it'll cost somewhere around 200 Euros, but it'll depend on the actual weekend and the location. Please take this into account when voting for a date, as we don't want you to vote unless you actually intent to come.
During this weekend we'll plan some activities like paintball/lasergame and possibly more outdoor fun. The evenings can be filled with things like drinking, board games, perhaps a mini-lanparty and more drinking. In any case, it'll be a lot of fun and a chance to meet the people you yell at/yell at you when gaming ;)
The potential dates are:
June 6th till 9th
June 13th till 16th
June 20th till 23rd
July 18th till 21st
PLEASE LET US KNOW BY POSTING WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!
If you can't be there for the entire weekend, that's no problem as you're of course free to join in or leave whenever you want. However, it might be a bit more difficult to get to the location then, or you might miss activities.

Let's not get a super fancy place this time, where we sit down in an amazing beautiful dining room with champagne for supper.... which is pasta.

I don't think I'd be able to make it this summer, but I hope most of you decide to go. Hanging out with BI is never lame. 8)
Also, it would be awesome if you guys could skype me sometime during the meet, so I could be a part of it. Sort of. ;D

Having just spent over $2k fitting out my new apartment (fridge, George Foreman Grill, bed, computer desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, coffee table, TV stand, DSL modem and a bunch of small stuff I have forgotten) my budget can't stretch to flying all the way from Australia to Europe :)

I'm not sure if we'll have a decent internet connection available, but if we do, I'll set up a webcam so the lame people that stay at home can watch in envy :P Skyping is always an option btw :)

Sweden isn't that far away, it's only an hour, hour and a half by plane. Isn't that expensive either, I mean, I think I flew for less than 100 euros to Stockholm.

June 6th till 9th - Bad option for me, but maybe for a day
June 13th till 16th - Available
June 20th till 23rd - Leaving on holiday, so thats a no
July 18th till 21st - Probably available

Sorry to be a partypooper, but have to fix apartment n really bad finacial situation atm. Can't see it clearing in the next six months so.. Time n cash wise. :'(

So, EvilWhitDragon and I just decided that apparently the weekend of June 13th till 16th suits best, so we'll pick that one. In terms of activities, any particular suggestions? EWD already mentioned things like paintball, but perhaps more outdoor activities?
Oh and in terms of stay, what do you think of a cottage for the weekend? Seems to us the most fun.
@Trace, will you be able to arrange a car? EWD will check with his parents, but that's currently unsure. Renting a car is also an option, but more expensive obviously.

For a weekend? not very likely. Also I'd prefer to keep costs as low as possible, going away already for a couple of weeks in the next 2 months, which will leave me with not much budget to spare.

Ok, I'm fairly sure I can get my dad's Volvo V70, which should be more than adequate :)
So, on to the next thing: events + place to stay. Ideas?

No point planning too much if it's just going to be a few of us. So far it's just you dutchies and me :(
Nooby may come along. I think he's a bit interested but also wary. I'll see if I can convince him to change his tune when I visit him :P

Aaaand I just noticed. That one weekend you's have chosen to be best. I've a concert on the Sunday. I'll doubel check timings, Instead I just may leave Sunday Morning or whatever. I'm quite eager to attend both things.

Err, guys, I asked you to state when you'd be available, and now all of the sudden other stuff pops up?
We can always try again later... But then I really don't want to ask for dates to later hear that you can't come.

I ordered tickets a good while ago and forgot about them. They arrived yesterday and I was looking the dates this morning then went "Well shit.". Checked the forums and right enough, lands on desired week. Typical :P

Well, for StealthEye, Trace and me it's virtually no effort. The Netherlands isn't that big.
