The following pages need an update, all or parts of it:

http://www.blackintel.org/contact -done
http://www.blackintel.org/staff -done
http://www.blackintel.org/servers -done

http://www.blackintel.org/renegade/members
and maybe this
http://www.blackintel.org/firststrike/members

And what about the BFBC2 section?  Do we need that anymore?  Shouldn't we have a BF3 section?

We'll have to grant you webmaster :P  I'll sort out the staff page first.  The "members" pages I think we should do away with, the database is messy, and it's bloody annoying to keep on top of, especially 'cause people play different games.  One central "Members" page should do, under "Clan" or something.

I think it should still be clear who plays what. That is currently possible BTW... It's just that it is horrible to maintain.

Who plays what isn't really relevant for the people outside of BI.  Those of us in BI already pretty much know who's who.  As it is now, when we release a new game, or when someone buys a game after they have filled in the register form, it is a complete ASS to update their record.

"Game Groups" have been disbanded on the forums, in favour of central "clan rank" groups.  The same should be done on the Clan DB.  Much easier to maintain, and less fooling around from staff to update it, making it less likely to fail.

We need to restructure the clan DB (outside of my skills, tbh, and perhaps we should just restart it, for the final time), and have all the clan stuff under /clan.  Clan stuff being: Clan Structure, Idealogy/Rules, Members, Join form.

As I said above, the current database is extremely messy, especially to add people to new games.

I will likely not have the time to do it before mid March.

If you just want a list, why use a database? The database was put in place to be able to use it in different places as well. With just all members, that isn't needed anymore.

A list does the job, but I do like the join form, and having the access to that information (should we need it) that is asked for in the form.  Most notably IM details for getting back to applicants.  A full on database is not really needed for that though, if the details submitted are simply e-mailed to staff after filled in, we can update any weblist manually.

Just ignore the database then and change the page to a simple list instead of fetching it from the db. Then it would work as desired?

Alright, that works for me. I'll create a global members page hopefully later today.
