I don't see why what you highlighted shouldn't be said?
I wasn't the one who added it, but if you read the very first post of the initiated discussion from this it is mentioned there:
As you'll probably know the player count on both server has dropped and the BI and TK2 servers have mostly the same regulars. Having two separate servers is not good for either of our servers, as it tends to split the playercount, and lower playercounts make the server go empty faster.
So might as well be on the servers page...
WRT the English language errors; I'll get to it, but first I'll see if there is anything I can do to the CSS document...

Well, if I would read they dont have much players and are dyin I would get the fuck out. (sorry for typo's,spilled coffee over keyboard, spacekey and some other keys are stuck.)

I think the date in the second part of the sentence got you to misunderstand what was meant. Afaik the message is older and relates to the merging of our two hosting accounts onto one dedicated box. This obviously reduced costs. The second part of the sentence was probably added later and was about the rather unrelated Renegade server merge. It's very unclear indeed though.
I don't mind money to be mentioned there. It was indeed a good reason for the server merge, although obviously not the only one. Same goes for the player counts really, it wasn't the only reason either.
