Hey!
Two and a half weeks ago my computer broke down (simply burned out, apparently, and fried the hard drive if not also the mother board).
According to the place I bought it, I'll have it back in another two and a half weeks - tops, so it'll probably end up in actually being two and half months... :(
Well, I'll do my best to visit in as often as I can, but untill I have my computer back - take care!

I might be missing something, but, your computer broke 2,5 weeks ago... Then why do I have the feeling I haven't seen you in ages online :|?

GASPS - Gwynzer, are you Canadian!?!?

He is, undercover, even tho I have no clue why he would be.
@Dex hope it gets fixed and that we'll see you at the meet :)

So, I am in a great news-good news-bad news situation:
Good news:
My laptop is back from repairs - motherboard and keyboard were both completely fried. So was the hard drive, btw, so HP thought to themselves: What the hell, we'll put in one more - so where I before had *one* hard drive at about 200 GB I now have *two* hard drives each at about 300 GB.
Honestly - I don't mind that minor mix-up! ::)
Bad news:
My ISP is down due to the massive cloudburst Saturday before last (some people in Copenhagen are *still* without hot water).
Great news:
I may be moving to Ireland!
I am desperately close to landing a job as a 1st line IT-supporter at IBM Ireland! ;D

Well, it wasn't IBM in the end but HP, and I have just accepted their job offer! :D
August 22nd will be my first day! :)

Still Ireland though? :) Congrats!! Although it's slightly ironic to post about getting a job as IT-supporter in a topic called "my computer broke down". ;D

Now you mention it, very dubious indeed :+

It's juuuuust a tid bit difficult repairing my own computer, when *almost* EVERYTHING broke - the only thing that still worked was the DVD-drive and the mouse / touchpad.
For most people a computer "breaks down" when it runs out of power or when a desktop computer's power supply plug falls out - perhaps mine didn't "break down" as much as simply just broke to pieces!
Oh - fuck you, Gwyn.
