YAY! IMFILLEDWITHHAPPINESSBECAUSETHISISSUCHAGREATEVENT!
For those who can't be bothered with reading that sentence, I said "I'm filled with happiness because this is such a great event!". But now it doesn't seem as exciting... Why do lazy people exist?
Anyway, it's time to celebrate! Post some pics of you guys drinking beer so that we have proof that you are happy (pics may not have vomiting included)! Or maybe you might drink to forget the harshness of losing the UT3 section :'( (not that I even cared one bit for that section, I'm just sympathizing you old-UT3ers :P).
The new Battlefield: Bad Company 2 section now exists! (for about a week? Anyway...) LOADS of people are going to play it, so I suggest (strongly) you buy a copy when it comes out!
I'm hyped! I'm pumped! I'm awesome (so are you 8))! I'm full of adrenaline! This is gonna be sweeee(etc)eeeet! I suggest we make a poster of Evil pointing at the viewer while saying: "Blackintel needs YOU to donate! join the BFBC2 section!"

Unknown to most, Evil has actually included very small, almost transparent text in every single picture of himself that says "Donate! Donate!" then gives the paypal address - his attempts at subliminal messaging isn't working yet.

Not without official (free) dedicated servers. Recreating a server will probably be pretty hard.

I'm playing the campaign even though it's not yet released :D
If you got the game through the EA store and allready pre-loaded and installed it, then click play and it will update, when the update is done, it will ask if you want to start the game, just click yes and it starts instead of checking if it's released. Have fun if this works for you :D
Online doesn't work yet though.

Well I did this and found that suddenly my multi-player works :)
Have already completed the single player yesterday so I'm just happy I can play on line :D

Well Yes in the USA ;) and maybe a few other countries ;) In the EU it is set to the 4th. and I've heard that UK get it the 5th :) I at least know that in dk we won't have it untill the 4th but have a few rumors about the 3th :)
All that considering I think I've been lucky to get in ;) before I was supposed to XD

It's really the only game I play at the moment, can't afford BF:BC2 so I got screwed there. I wouldn't mind having somewhere to complain about the glitchfest. Out of curiosity though, why won't we make a MW2 section? Lack of dedicated servers for us to host? Or just cause it was way overhyped and came nowhere near living up to the hype?

Then you have the problem that one has it on PS3 and the other on Xbox360. Not to forget about having or not having the stimulus package ($$$).

So much for the console has a unified architecture so anyone that has one can play.

It doesn't matter if one has the stimulus package and one doesn't.
As long as the party is set up by the one that doesn't it will disable the stimulus package maps.

true but i do agree on the point that we have a few xbox 360 players and then few playstation players but we can recruit players while we are playing (good players :P ) that would solve it
cuz i hear alot of times that players are looking for a clan and such.

yeah a few minute's ago me and liam had really fun games while playing MW2 together :D
so for people that want to join in next time just add our gamertag's its somewhere here in the forums

I think it could work as a section. A few of the members have it on X360, I have it on PS3 and know quite some players already who would maybe be interested.
Stimulus package isn't a problem on PS3 for a while, since Microsoft bought that off so its 360 exclusive for now :P

I'm just curious; is it possible for PS3, XBox, and PC players to play against each other?
Say that I get MW2 on PC (I don't have neither PS3 or XBox), would it be possible for me to play against one of the PS3 or XBox MW2-players?

One game I know of had XBox and PC versions able to play together. It wasn't a very good game though. . .
MW2 doesn't have this functionality.

That just wouldn't play well even if it were possible, with all the cheats available to PC players; it just wouldn't be fun.
