color blending shouldnt be a problem if you view my tutorial
We're using the render itself to create the background color....... plus using variations adding more of a certain color in can blend the two very well.

Maybe, i'll make a more detailed tutorial soon :]

1. it's far too big
2. render in wrong position
3. text in wrong position, plus not usually best to add text until all is complete
4. I do like the bg so far.

Now use the render to create the bg color I explained how to do it in my tutorial
Maybe when  i get back from going out, i shall write a VERY detailed explanation?

5. Now take your render, and just move it on top of your brush layers. It will probably be very big and fill the entire workspace. That's what you want If it doesnt fill it entirely, stretch it so it does. (ctrl+t  making sure to hold shift while adjusting size to keep aspect ratio)



6. Now we are going to distort it There are many ways to do this, i like to: Go to filter - blur - motion blur. And use these settings:



7. Last now to get the BG complete before we add our render. Go to the layers pane with the layer you just blurred highlighted and click the drop down where it says normal, and change this to 'overlay'

I'm sure it was for the person that cut it.......
cutting "rendering" is extremely difficult, im sure you didn't do it

Regarding the sig, its a huge improvement yes :] But i dont see any blending on your render. Did you do any on it? You have to take loads of things into account, like lighting and matching colors, making sure the render sticks out from the bg, but not to much like you just pasted it on there and left it.

Edit : did you really think that i did it in what like 5 min i have been cutting the damn image for like 2 days now but i used a diffrent more easy to cut ones

What tool did you use to cut it then?
And could you upload the entire render ? id like to see it.
My cuts dont look nowhere near as good as the ones on planetrenders, it's just to use it in a small signature it doesnt matter. If i show you mine renders in full size before i blend them in a sig, they dont look too good at all.

here is my render of RE5 charachter. i did for your sig. If you look its not perfect, its always what i do. Hence why saying, cutting is difficult.

this is what i did for 48 hours >.> i listened to some ocean music XD lol just to calm my hand and i hold my hand so i would not fuck it up

and i used paint and photoshop i dont know i did the quick cutting with paint and the AWFUL difficult cuttting with adobe photoshop
